GREENBRIER AREA ARTS COUNCIL

Our Story

Once upon a time, a group of creative friends got together to plan an arts festival in their town. Their goal was to raise awareness of the arts, create an opportunity for local artists to showcase and sell their work, and raise money for a scholarship for students pursuing the arts. Eighteen months later, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit now known as the Greenbrier Area Arts Council was born. And the fairytale continues as we partner with aspiring artists to help make their dreams come true!

Our Mission

To serve and unite our community by cultivating creativity through connection, cultivation, and celebration of the arts.

Our Vision

To foster community belonging through the arts by developing educational opportunities, creating artistic spaces, and bringing art-inspired events to Greenbrier and beyond.
